2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Remote Start

What have people used? Was looking at Summits, Vehicle Power Accessories (VPA) setup that piggybacks on the factory remote. But they don't say if it works on a diesel. But then again I drive a Cummins not a PS so all I have to do is crank, no wait.

I have an auto mate, DEI Has a very large selection to choose from, It depends where you buy it for the model names. Remember to use a relay on the wait to start light, to run the grid heater. Very easy to do during install of tach input. Hope this helps.

mrose, go to www.directed.com and look there, you will find several to choose from. I have the valet system and it works great Oo. I did take it back and have it set to run twenty minutes instead of ten before it shuts off,just not enough time for the cummins to warm up :{ I have had this system for almost three years and no problems and it will wait for the wait to start light to go out. I like mine, hope this site helps. Don Barr

I have an Astro Start on mine and it will run 36 min. On this one and the 99 we had troubles till we put the trigger on the grids and not the wait to start light.
