Remote start

Has anyone put one on themselves? Any brand recommendations? Please share the good, the bad and the ugly. Thank you.

I installed a Fortin Evo All on the wife's 2008 Town and Country. I only wanted Remote Start without anything else and they offer that functionality.

I also did NOT want separate fobs for the remote start. Fortin uses three presses of the lock button on the factory remote to enable the remote start. Very clever.

I would buy the same thing again.

The wiring diagrams take some study, but I did figure them out. Cut about a pound of wire out that was not needed before installing which really simplified the install. Let me know if I can help you wade through it.

Thank you very much. I will look into this.
I have a heated seat that I would like in by winter and remote start would be nice as well.
I have a feeling that it's going to be a cold one.

I am pretty interested in what you found in the wiring. I also wonder if the diesel application is any different from the gasser application.
