Has anyone ever removed their exterrior door mouldings? (the ones that keep other drivers from dinging your door when they open theirs) I saw a truck recently that had them removed along with all Dodge emblems..... How hard are the mouldings to remove, and what it the proper procedure to do so?

I went to a tint shop and offered the tech $20 to help me. He had the plastic knives, and industrial adhesive, plus a heat gun. It was done in ten minutes. WELLLL worth the 20spot. Hope this helps

Try it on a warm day and use dental floss to work the adhesive off. A heat gun might work, but I wouldn't use anything more than a hair dryer myself. Those heat guns get things real hot real fast!!

I removed the badging off my Subaru that way.

I used the dental floss and hair dryer on the 2004 dodge and it took half a day. Turn the setting down on the heat gun and be cautious.

I took mine off by just getting them started and pulling them off. Get a 3M eraser wheel and run it in a drill motor at low speed. Worked great and no paint damage.
