On my rig I have to remove the front pass side wheel ( 19. 5 450 ft/lbs)and some other stuff to access the VE. (Or get real skinny) To avoid a roadside "now what", I want to get rid of the fuel solenoid and use a cable.

I know I can remove the solenoid; get rid of the plunger, and reinstall, but is there a flat plug that will

fit the space?

Thanks any info.

on my truck I machined the tip down, and it lasted all of 3 weeks. so I removed the plunger and put the solenoid back in, then I installed a cable below the steering wheel. It looks almost factory and shuts off every time now. ;) did that last winter.
