Remove tow hooks.

My Reunel stainless front bumper came with stainless steel tow hooks. Problem solved. (thread is in Product/no engine or trans forum).

I jst lifted my I/c up after taking the upper bolts out, didn't remove it completely. I also put the bumper bolts in from the other side when I put it back together.

I was able to reinstall my tow hooks after replacing the factory bumper with an iron horse bumper. I am very pleased with the strength of the tow hooks and bumper.

Story: Last weekend I was loading another dually on a 32ft GN trailer and it started raining. By the time we got the trailer loaded I was too heavy to get out. We used one of the front tow hooks, a large JD tractor and some 3/8" chain to pull me out. At one point the JD was pulling me side ways... no problems at all with the tow hooks and you can't even tell that we used them! I'm guessing my total weight was about 21K lbs.
