remove turbo silencer?

I have an 05' 3500 Ram. Does anybody know how I remove the turbo silencer. And Where it is?

do a search under silencer ring and you;ll find what you need



anyways... . pull the filter tube off the front of the turbo. Look at the turbo and around theoutside of it is a "snap ring" take a small screwdriver and gently pry it out, then the silencer ring will be lose, just pull it out and the silencer ring is removed. on a 1-10 scale its a easy 1

its very easy like the other two guys said , and you can here the whislte better

*note* take your belt off or use a fender mat, bending over to get dads silencer ring out of his 05 was a close call on the paint
