Removel of Mega Cab cupholder

My wife complained about the raised floor cup holder. I removed it to find the duct work for the rear vents. So I custom made out of 1/4" oak plywood a new duct to fit flush in the floor same hight as carpet and padding. Then I ordered all the husky liners and the hump liner form a 06 QC auto. And also the fold down dash cup holder and lower plastic trim from 06 QC for about 150. 00. It fit perfect and I get a lot of comments. The a/c works great. The hump liner was also a perfect fit. I'd like to see this mod. Do you have any photo program on your computer? You should be able to shrink your pics down, then do a "save as", then post for all of our Enquiring Minds! Thanks

Looks good! I would also like to figure out a way to shut off the flow to the rear.

I first thought about removing the duct all together. It did not seam to have much air movement out of the vents anyway. After making the new thinner duct work I have more air now. If you want no air at all ever you can easily cap it off under the dash...
