Removing Center Counsel

I know it's been explained before, but I can't find it and I'm trying to figure out to mount my Jordan brake controller, but how do you get the center floor counsel out? Mine has a 6 speed and manual transfer case lever.

If you have the last TDR magazine, issue 40, look on page 156. There are instructions for removing the center console around the gear shift in order to install the BD short shift kit. It's complete with pictures. I think it will help.

Ok I just read the article. Question though: how do I get the boot out of the hole where the transfer case shifter is?
