removing emblems on 3 yr old truck

I removed all emblems and stickers from my truck on the first day i had it. I like the look and would like to do the same to my father in law's. Here is the deal, it is a 98 12 valve that he bought new. My concern is that because of the age, if i pull the emblems and stickers off, you might see a difference in color/ luster of the paint. What do you guys think. go for it or leave em on.

I don't think you will be able to see any difference in the paint if the truck has been cared for.

I removed them from my 96 last year and there were no visable differences after a little poliching.

MEQUIRES makes a cleaner/wax (safe for clear coats)that will blend the difference.

I removed mine on my truck when it was four years old. The center band color is driftwood on mine, and where the logos were, you could see no color difference. The paint really held up well, and was well taken care of.
