Removing my Pressure Loc

I'm removing my BD Pressure Loc (not to be confused with the Torque Lock) because Dave Goerend is beefing up my transmission in a couple of weeks and I won't need the Pressure Loc unless I have an exhaust brake (I don't). For those of you unfamiliar with the Pressure Loc, It's a device that mounts on the side of the transmission that raises the line pressures whenever the torque converter is locked up. It's especially useful when using an exhaust brake since your pressures are pretty low when you take your foot off the gas. I've had it on for about a year, if anyone wants to buy it cheap, email me. Update: 05/08/01 Someone already bought the pressure Loc from me so it's no longer available.

Dave is a really nice guy/ I bought a converter from him and installed a vb kit per dave he spent at least 4 hours on the phone with me. Great guy His converter is a whole lot better than stock by the feel of the seat of your pants.
Good choice for the transmission work. He also does not talk trash about anbody elses product.

I agree BigYellowIron, if you read some of Dave's posts he never downgrades anyone's product, not like many of the others who think their converter is the only one that works. He told me he would install anyone's converter for me. He also said if I didn't like his converter and wanted to install a DTT after I had his, he would take it out, give me my money back and install the DTT for me. That's the kind of guy I like to do business with. I'm sure I'll like his work...

he told me that if i was dissappointed in his converter he would do anything to make it right for me by building me something else. Keep me posted on your trans progress
