Competition Reno & Gardnerville, NV Sled Pulls

Not this weekend, but the next, a double whammy weekend with the fine folks of MLM, you can pull at the Nevada State Fair on Friday, first time for this venue I believe, and one of very own diesel fans is responsible for making it happen, Melissa Forbus. So we can pull and help support one of our own : ) after that we go south about 50 miles to Gardnerville, NV and hook up on Saturday evening. Who’s in ????

You beat me to the thread. = ) The pull will be at the Reno Livestock Event Center. If you have any questions just put them on here and we will get them answered. Yes this is the first time in a long time that there has been a pull at the state fair. I hope it turns out great! See you there!!

Any Idea on what the track will look like? any clay? loose, tight? length, is it going to be able to be a 300' track?



How about pit accomedations, lighting at night? grass or dirt?



If you don't know no big deal we will deal with what we got, just thought if you did we would know what to expect

Ok wow!!



The track is an arena. But it will be packed with Brian from MLM watching to make sure it will be good. I will go look at the dirt today. And let you know the conditions. The arena from end to end is 325ft. The sled will be at the shoots and you will pull to an open gate. Which is wide enough for you to get thru when you do a full pull. = ) The pits are dirt with lighting. Any more?

coming south on US 395 from Carson City it is on the left at a signal light.



Follow Pinenut for approx 4 to 5 miles and the arena is on the right just before the landfill.

As of an hour ago, Pinenut Rd. was closed due to a grassfire. No word on when it'll be out.
