towing in od???

A buddy of mine ask me this weekend if I'd rent him my TT for 4 days this September so that he can camp for the Dover NASCAR race.

I trust the guy (he's a NYS Trooper), so that is not too big an issue. I have no idea what a "typical" rental charge would be, though.

Does anyone know how much TT rent for?

I just wish I could be in his Chebby HD GASSER when he pulls the rig up the first big hill he encounters. I'd like to see how much he slows down.

(the TT description is in my signature)

If he's a trusted "buddy" a case of beer would do it for me. OR just save it till you need to borrow something of his. That's what buddy's are for right?;)

Rental on that unit is $70 per day with a $500 security deposit. On race week, we get $1,000 for the week.

He was the one that mentioned "renting". I had already thought about the case of beer thing.

I suppose I could make him buy me a Dodge Motor Sports baseball cap or shirt from one of the Dodge NASCAR drivers. Knowing that he had to buy something with a Dodge logo on it might be payment enough. :D

Tbone, Make'em wear it the whole race too! Have somebody take his pic about every 3 laps or so for proof! But remember paybacks are heck!:D

Renting and loaning may be two different things. If you rent it, you are doing it as a profit-making enterprise. At least your insurance company may see it that way. I would just loan it if it's to a friend and not have any monetary value in the deal.
