Changed my fuel filter last weekend turned the key on to cycle the pump and nothing happened. Did a pressure check and nada (big surprise). Picked up a new pump and installed it tonight still doesn't kick on. Checked the old pump with a set of jumpers and works fine. Its three years old and still putting out 12psi. So I'm guessing there's a relay or fuse that I'm overlooking. Could use some help as this is my only driver.

UMMmmmmm - it would sorta help if we knew what year truck you have... .

The Devil is in the DETAILS, and we sorta hate to shoot blind! ;)

short term you can use a jumper wire to provide power until some guru helps you out a bit.

From what I have gleaned the lift pump is controlled from the ECM through the PCM?

Pull the negative battery cables, key on. wait 45 minutes. power back up.

maybe, just maybe one of the computer modules got confused and will reset.
