Looking for some suggestions.
My trans was operating fine, had some pieces of snap ring in the pan. Also some of the ears of the od housing were broke so I bought a new rebuilt od housing from a trans shop.
I just got done installing it, filled up with fluid. Truck goes into drive fine, but feels like it goes into reverse and then slips and won't move.

Any ideas?
Everything seemed to go together fine.

I figured it out. It was in installation error by myself and my buddy. There's a bearing and a washer between the main case and the od unit. I put the washer into the od unit and the bearing into the trans. Not realizing that the bearing was sitting in the washer on the trans. So basically I had two of the washers in there. It took me awhile to think about it and look at a parts break out. I took it all back apart, took out the extra washer, the bearing I had broken and put in the old bearing...Then it worked fine.
