Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) replaced vp44 now no power

bought 2002 HO. ran like race car till dodge replaced the pump. Now my 1992

12 valve will out run it and out pull it. Hear rumer that dodge was detuning

the ho because in 1st gear it would pull through the brakes at idle.

Has any one had this problem.

That is a myth. However I would take it to the dealer and complain of low power.

Sounds like the wrong vp (so vs ho) got installed, or the wrong keyway/reversed.
