AERO TANK versus the TRANSFER FLOW Tank. I have been looking at both and see the AERO has a 60gal that is 16 ga Aluminzed steel and doesnt hang down below the frame. Has a lower price in the TDR as oppesed to the web. $568 + Shipping. Uses exixting holes as does the Transfer Flow. Anyone used the Aero Flow? Any opinions which is the better of the two tanks.

Don't have one myself, but Joe Donnelly has the 56(?) gallon replacement Transfer Flow on his '04 LWB. There was an article in the latest issue of the TDR magazine. I've seen his truck, and the tank fits very well indeed. You can connect with him on the board (Joseph Donnelly).

Welcome to the TDR! I would suggest you put in the details (year/model/transmission/etc) of your truck in your signature so we can help you find all the right parts.

And spend your money for bombs...

I had Aero Tanks install their 60 gal replacement tank about 6 years ago. No problems, exelent company to work with!

Thought about installing it myself, They charged $135. 00 for the labor, I though that that is a GOOD deal. They went on to say that the Warranty was for 1 year if I installed it myself. 2 years if they installed it. The tank is long, they wanted to make sure that the truck frame wasn't in a twist when it is installed.

TDR a few years ago had a couple of articles about installing it.

Good luck with which ever on you decide to get.

Installed a Titan Supertank (57gal) on my 2005. I looked at Aero and Transferflow but decided on the Supertank, as it was the biggest available, lowest shipping from Idaho to Washington, and made of the same material as the OEM tank, with a full length metal shield on the bottom.

One thing I didn't like about Aero, other then some of the negative comments on the TDR, was that they seemed to "nickel and dime" you to death with all the additional parts you had to order to get the full setup. JMHO... ;)
