Yeah i checked with my dealer and they said that just adding the tank was not an issue. They said if the tank caused something else to fail where the stock tank would not have caused the problem then there would be an issue. They said they see those tanks all the time and never see any problems.
Also, TransFerFlow has done their homework. Their tanks go through an extensive DOT certification process and have met or exceeded DOT requirements. They have extended their warranty from 36 to 60,000 miles/3 years and stand by their products.
They've got thousands of tanks on the road and I've never heard of anyone having an issue with the factory warranty. I'm not worried about it.

Ditto everything positive said about Transfer Flow. We have 8 larger replacement tanks and 2 100 gal bed-mounted refueling tanks in service for over 10 years and only one issue in a truck with a service bed pinching the wiring. Not TF's fault, but they helped diagnose the issue and get it working again. Same experience on the local installs. You can tell they are both proud of their product and VERY concerned with the satisfaction of their buyers.

I had a 50 gallon in bed Transfer Flow tank installed by Quality Bumper in Tucson, AZ in my 2012 Dodge 3500 dually Laramie before attempting to tow our 18,000 lb trailer back to Texas and then on to Iowa for the summer. I am loving the tank. It is so nice to be able to tow all day long and have 85 gallons of fuel on board. It was a bit on the expensive side, but I would not be without it now.
