The second pump has an in line fuel filter in addition to the Fleetguard.
Talked to Geno's before posting and told them the pump failed in @ 6,000 miles or less (actual miles was @4,000 after checking) No input from them either good or bad.
I realize there is no warrantee on the kind I bought.
The in-line is worthless. . With the dual kit we throw the in-line filter that comes with the pump in the garbage. In the winter -0* that in-line gets clogged with the MN Bio-Diesel and destroys the pump, big chunks break off and plug the pump.
TC so what you are saying is that when a FASS/Airdog fuel filter plugs that it has a bypass to allow unfiltered fuel to reach the CP3? One would think that either the filters would plug and truck would die or the fuel would bypass back to the tank. It doesn't make sense to me.
