Well, I managed to break the glass that was loose in my mirror tying to take it out. I have Bestop heated electric tow mirrors and have had "O" luck with finding anyone with glass for them. Have any of you found a source?

Want to get this replaced so I can get out of town for some fun.

Thanks in advance.

Paul,

I recently had to replace the glass in my factory tow mirror and got it from my local glass company here in Auburn. They ordered it for me from Ready Made glass replacements and had it the next day for me. I know yours isn't the factory mirrors but the catalog they ordered mine from had just about every type of mirror you could imagine. If you haven't done it already try one of your local auto glass companies in Vacaville.

A glass company worth going to....

A good glass company can cut two way mirror and install it for you. Its not rocket science. they should be able to do it if they have any REAL technicians... He He

I would never buy them again

Well, at this point it appears that I will be doing just that. Bestop won't help me at all unless I want to send them $200. 00 for a new left hand unit(Which is not likely). I mean, I would not have bought the truck if I knew that I could not get a new windshield without purchasing an entire cab! So, DON'T BUY BESTOP, unless you enjoy being told to **** off.

I have called Cipa twice in two days and they do not return my calls. I guess 'ol Wanda is on an extended vacation. Anyway, they must be making so much money that they don't want mine. It is interesting how similar the Cipa mirrors are to the Bestop mirrors. Could it be that they are both made at the same facility? Can't say that I am very impressed with them, either.

However, I have spoken to some very friendly folks at glass shops right here in town and one of them will be getting my money.

Just make sure they use the right mirror....

Make sure they use two way mirror. The kind you can see through from one side. If you use regular mirror it will be blinding to you as well as people behind you.

Good Luck
