Dieselwrks,

I am using the FASS by itself bypassing anything factory until the CP3. In case I didn't clarify, mine is the FASS 95/95 w/filters. I figured since I was replacing the whole works that it did not matter where the sensor was as long as it was post pump and filters. Enlighten me if I am wrong. In case I failed to say so, thanks for your inputs!

Dave

sounds good for the pressure source I was thinking you were just using the fass pump and not the fass full meal deal. on my fass only pump I do not have a port. so I have a T fitting between stock filter and my Vp. but my concerns for fuel pressure reading to me is more important (vp-44) enough said about them. down the road I may trial the full fass and bypass the stock filter housing but Im happy with my pressure I have and filtering for now.

A few months back, I opted to go with a replacement lift pump offered by genos. The kit came with an inline filter which I installed upstream of the LP. Would anyone know if local autoparts store would carry such a filter, or, one that will do the same job? i tried to get a number of the filter but could not. I'm even considering just removing it all together. It's been on for approximately 10000 miles. All opinions welcomed. Thanks!

It's napa 3270. It works with 3/8 id fuel line... Jeff

Fleetguard also has an inline filter/fuel strainer #5079, 3/8" ID, 0 press drop. $4.
