I'm going to need to replace my shocks sooner rather than later I think, all four corners on a 98. 5 3/4 ton 2wd. The truck is used for mostly unloaded Highway driving, but when it's loaded, it's LOADED. What replacement shocks is everyone using and who would you recommend getting them through with regard to price and service. I'll be doing the install on my own.
 
I bought my Bilstiens at Autozone. About the cheapest around as well.

They work well, but I can only compare them to the worn out stock ones.

I run empty a lot, but I do tow heavy (especially pin weight) when I do. And so far they work as expected.
 
I Had A Set Of Kybs Installed About Three Months Ago ,it Alot Of Road Shock Out Of The Drive On The Way To Colo . it Also Handles Road Bounce When I Pull The 33 Ft 5er Its Aheavy Montana .
