2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Replacing Interior Lights ???

Since the Map Lights and Dome light remain on for a few seconds everytime the door is opened; I am curious 1) when I would expect them to "go out" and 2) how difficult will it be to replace them?

I am not sure how long they will last, but the plastic lens that covers the lights in the O/H console just snap out. The bulbs are then behind the lenses. It takes all of 2-3 minutes to replace, not including buying the bulbs. I used a small flat screwdriver to pry out the lenses.

If you want, I can scrounge up the page from the service manual and paste. Let me know.

Chaz, I have an 01 and have never had to replace any of the bulbs yet (watch they will all go out in the next week though :{ ) and I am in/out of my truck minimum of 10times aday for 5 years. I think that if u actually added up the hours that they have been on for it would be a relatively short time.
