Hi all. It looks like my waterpump on my 2005 needs replaced, its weeping. It looks to be really simple, 2 bolts and its out. Is it really that simple? Is there anything else I need to look out for or are there any tricks that may make it easier? Anything besides the pump that I need to remove?

Sometimes it's hard to get the air out of the engine after draining it partway down to change the pump. What I found works best is to pull the heater hose off the top of the head while putting water in the radiator. The air escapes and allows the water in. When it starts to come out the hose fitting, put the hose back on.

As far as pumps, I went through three AutoZone pumps before I found one that did not leak in a few weeks. Geno's has them for much less money than AutoZone... and they're probably better.
