If you have a two piece drive shaft like mine watch out for the carrier bearing mount. When you get all four mounting bolts out of it, it will swing around the drive shaft and get you if you are not careful. The drive shaft into the back of the transfer case is just a slip joint spline. It should just pull out without any trouble.

Need to know where I can get this resistor I've read about. I went to Radio Shack but there's didn't look like anything that would work. I'm figured I'd change my lines while I was at it.

What were you looking for? Radio Shack has a lot of resistors. You can get five 1K ohm 1/4 watt resistors in a package. Should be about a dollar. Then you have four spares just in case you manage to break any.

Hey Joe, Hoping you would reply. Don't know how to describe them, they were pretty small, not sure but 2 little wires on the end and what looked like a small porcelean bulb in the middle. Not exactly sure how you'd describe it. But I couldn't figure out where it woiuld go if it was the right one. How do you; for a lack of a better word, wire it in.

The connector is a two wire. So bend the leads on the resistor so you can just plug it into the connector. Cover the resistor and connector with silicon. Tie it up with a tie wrap so it won't wave in the breeze and you are done.

Finally got it in. It was less of a hassle getting it in then taking it out. I'm Waiting for my lines I ordered the otherday before I finish.

Thanks for all the help.
