Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Replacing VP44

I'm replacing the vp 44 on my 1999 when i removed the pump and checked the # the one from the truck was a 047056015 and the replacement pump was 047056027. I have read about 027 i think this was for a 235hp and a 028 for the ho 245 i have not see any thing on the 015 215hp will the 027 work with out driveability problems i am going to contact where i got the pump tomarrow i was just wantig to see what you all thought thanks

I'm no expert, but I would think the 027 would work just fine. I have an SO pump on my truck instead of an HO pump with no issues whatsoever. Didn't even know they had 215hp pumps on these trucks, is it a Cali truck?

I did not know it until i checked the pump and saw the 015 then i looked at the engine tag and it said hp 215 @2700 rpm don't know how to tell on the calf. Part.

According to MWFI, the 027 pump is fine for the 215hp trucks. You should be safe...
