Repower Ariens snow blower

I have an ariens blower about 15 to 20 years old with a trashed 5 HP (h50) TECUMSEH, I would like to find a replacement or move up to 6-8 hp. Any ideas were I can find one cheap. I planning on buying a new Kubota tractor come spring\summer.

What is wrong with the one you have now??? Can it be rebuilt? I worked in a lawn and garden repair shop for a few years, I'd be willing to help ya out rebuilding it.

I second Northern tool. Can't seem to find any 10HP or lower Tecumseh Show King engines though.

Avoid an OHV engine. Pay the extra money for the Tecumsah snow king. An OHV engine does not lug down as the old reliable flat heads.

I picked up an old Coast-to-Coast unit this fall. I would love a newer multiple speed travel unit, but his old clunker is really well built.
