I received a notification in the mail from Chrysler that there could be a problem with my 2014 2500 4x4 Tradesman.

It states," The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module on my truck may contain software that causes an intermittent loss of Speedometer, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and /or Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS)."

The notification states to bring the truck in for a reprogram of the ABS module. Cost is free and takes about 1/2 hr. to complete.

Just a "heads up' to you folks with similar vehicles....

Mine goes in tomorrow morning for P26. Wasn't to concerned about it but then I got a check engine light when I remote started it a few days ago when it was very cold out and my block heater timer failed to turn on. The truck started but then shut off once the CEL came on. Now of course I can't use the remote start until I get the CEL cleared so will kill 2 birds at the dealer.

I also just yesterday got the P65 recall for the diesel fuel heater electrical connector but it says the part is still not available.

Got that one 2 weeks before xmas.

It got me - no cruise control was the only issue. SCS and ABS worked as normal, constant SCS light on in the dash. Took it in on the 28th, and there were around 8 updates and flashes on their list for my '14 (Hemi mind you).

NOTE - potential side effects of this update - the radio screen may freeze (5.4) and require replacement of the entire unit. At that time it was 5 days out minimum.
