Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Reputable Canadian machine shop

Hello, I'm new to 12v's and this forum.

Looking for a reputable machine shop that has experience working on 5. 9 12v's

called one in the Ontario area and they claimed to be specialists... I requested a quote for a bunch of work including a 5 angle valve job... The guy said it was impossible, simply not enough room!

Bah... . That goes against everything I've read thus far, the big shops all advertise 3 or 5 angle cuts...



Needless to say, I don't think I'm taking my engine to him.



Anyone in the Ontario region that can point me in the righ direction?

block bored

upper and lower 14's drilled tapped

head rebuild

fire ring...

not sure on what a 5angle valve job is but hot rod diesel in woodville would be the guys i would be talking too. heath is super friendly and honest guy. what u building the engine so much for??? pulling this year?

Nope, I'm not pulling.
There 3 and 5 angle valve cuts, look into it. It just creates 2 additional seats, better valve seal...

I've spoken to Heath, found his info since this post. He's a really nice guy!
Was your engine built by him?
