Just curious - how much of a drop hitch do you use to get the trailer level?

I am going thru the same thing with my 96 it is bone stock. It is listed a little high but the price is negotiable. Stealer salesman told me that used market is depressed because of all the rebates and low interest rates on new ones. It is 4x4 and club cab. Has been on auto trader for about 3 weeks and I have only had two inquiries. May have to dump it at the stealer oucheeeeee

I love the truck, and it does everything I need it to do perfectly except haul my 2 boys comfrotably! Reason for selling- Crew Cab- I love this truck and don't really care for the PSD but I'm at the point where I want to do more to this truck but can't stand the thought of spending more cash on a truck that just has too small of a cab and makes my boys cramped. As for the drop hitch, it's an adjustable 6", all the way down. My trailer is a Weekend Warrior with flipped axles so it sits pretty high. The top of my ball is at 32 1/2" and the trailer and truck are level when towing

There is allways some happen-chance involved in selling a used item.

Two years ago, my Brother in Law and I had identical trucks (Just after I bought mine I called him to tell him I bought a new truck and he allso had just bought one--same model, same color, allmost exact same options ), for sale, both with between 120K and 130K miles. As far as I could see they were in near identical condition, both mechanical and looks. We live 150 miles apart. I had mine advertised in local papers, truck trader, and on internet for about six months, before it sold (via internet to someone 1200 miles away).

His sold the first day it hit the local paper! and he got $1500. more than I did. We started out at the same price, but I accepted the lower offer after six months.

Right guy saw the add the first day.

I bought a used 1992 CTD club cab LE 2WD. I like the plain stock looking truck. I would not want to climb in to a truck. As I see it you have a vehicle that needs to be set back to stock ride height. May be it will sell. It looks cool. But is not practical for everyday use.

Straight pipe is a poor mans exhaust system? Call me a poor man then because my truck has no muffler & the truck before it had none & the truck before it also. I guess I'm just stuck in a cycle of poverty? Poor old me. How does not having a muffler relate to my ability to produce income??? All of those trucks were company trucks and the company is doing O. K. thanks... JTMcC.

I feel the same way! Maybe you can't tell from the pictures, but NOTHING on this truck is half a##ed! Poor mans exhaust, whatever, I have no trouble with egt's except in stage 4 and 5 and 4" exhaust isn't enough to run these stages. I tow my trailer and haul buns everywhere and have no trouble on 3! Poor mans exhaust, I call straight piping a wise choice!
