Dealer gave me printout from DC for me to be able to reset my overhead "oil change due" message.

Turn key to on (No start)

press brake pedal twice

press fuel pedal to floor twice

All in 10 seconds.

You will heard beep.

Turn key off.

This is suppose to work.

It don't.

Dealer is checking it out.

Turn the truck to "On" Then press the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times and then turn the truck to off. No beep on my truck.

The dealer is mistaken, this "pedal dance" will reset your "service required" monitor which goes off at 67,500 when your EGR system needs to be cleaned. The correct oil change reset is mentioned above: key on, 3 gas pedals to the floor, key off.

My 07 6. 7 is reset oil change with 3 go pedals within 3 seconds. If your oil is really dirty then it will come back on in 1 or 2 starts. #@$%!
