Reset fuel filter minder

I changed engine oil and fuel filters.. I went in the gauge section, did the reset deal both on the engine oil and fuel filter. The engine oil minder reset but the fuel filter did not.. Am I doing something wrong?

I just did mine yesterday. Had to hold the reset down for several seconds with key on, engine off

Gonzo the first time I did mine I had no trouble the second time I couldn't figure it out. The fuel filter ****** me off I tried it varies different ways till one day my friend was in the truck and he has one to I asked him about it he walked me through it. After you have held the right arrow down to resets the fuel filter it gives you a screen that says some thing about conformation and you have to use the down arrow to choose yes or ok or something similar it was the down arrow think that I was missing. Hope that helps.
