Restore Diamond Plate

Does anyone have tips on how to clean and restore diamond plate? I have used it on one project, now plan to use it on a new project and want it to have a "new" look. It is not coated.

Aluminum Cleaner - Aluminum Trailer Cleaner and Aluminum Pontoon Cleaner Here's one but there are many, I got some from a place in Brie City, Red Bird Chemical and it was easy to use and worked really well but I don't remember the name of it, just mix with water and wash the item. bg

try naval jelly if there are any stains, if it is just dull flitz you will need to flitz after the jelly

Maguires power ball and aluminum polish. I made a new dash for my motor car out of a piece of scrap aluminum and it shines like a mirror now.

Vinegar works wonders for hard water

Blue Magic polish which is available in the automotive section of many stores and a terry cloth towel.



For much faster results use a terrycloth pad on a low speed buffer, then have the clean terry cloth to polish out.



Makes it shine like never before.

"Bartender's Helper" will almost certainly clean up whatever the metal is. Then a good polishing to make it shine.
