MGM, the sled never hit Dave saturday night... he went 125 ft started bouncing and couldnt stop in time drive shaft broke dug into ground and popped up truck came down and DALE the sled rider/driver stop it very well. The sled didnt hit Dave at all

I apologize for giving Gene some wrong info. We were sitting down about the 300 foot line and it sure looked like the sled hit Mitchell from down there. It sure looked like it did, but after thinking more about it, I guess it probably didn't. Of course the battery went dead in my video camera right before his pull, so I didn't get it on tape.

Of course I got wiped by pretty much all the Dodge crowd. The mitchellized trucks out there ran great. Dave's truck is just flat out awesome. A powerstroke did manage to get second place amongst all the cummins.

Boy did I suck out there. :( Oh well, onward to next weekend.

John,

I wasn't going to tell them YOU were the Ford man on drugs!!

Good thing my clutch sucked all year, or you would have been pounded locally too!;)

It would be nice to hear from some of the sled operaters out there.

Yeah I ended up with forth in the 7000# class. Terry Gill PSD has beaten me twice now. One by eight inches and sat night by 6 ft. I just didnt have the right tires to hook to the track. I basically run with the Mitchell group and try to pull when they do.

Gene, don't sing it, bring it. I'll be in your hometown Monday. Show me! lol sissy

Jeremy, I had the white extended cab psd with stacks there. I had a map sensor leaking for the first pull. Basicaly the map wasn't getting the boost pressure it was suppose to so it wasn't letting much fuel out. Before the 8000# pull I had found out the problem and tried to seal the line up with a zip tie, and it did run alot better. I really screwed up though during the pull though. I wasn't paying attention to how fast the weight was coming up and shifted into second and the engine bogged right out. Oh well, live and learn. ;)
