Kent, have you tried another box? What does it do with the box off? What does it do with the pump wire disconnected, and the can-bus connection still on and the map sensor still on, so the EZ functions are still morking?

I've had several stumbling problems with my truck over time. One was caused by the crimp connection at the pump wire (which you've eliminated by soldering it - I will be doing that soon). Another was the harness that connected to the map sensor wasn't getting a good connection, I got a replacement connector from TST and that solved that one - to test this out have your ignition on but the engine off and wiggle the map harness around - if this is your problem you'll hear something around the injection pump click. I also had a slight stumbling problem last week from a bad MAP sensor. I had replaced my sensor as preventative maintenance and the new one was varying by +-5 psi. I didn't notice it until last week when I was looking at the full remote on my Powermax (it gets the boost reading from the MAP sensor) and saw the fluctuations, it was present with the box on or off but was much barely noticeable with the box off - very noticeable with it on because of the increased fueling. Last one was a bad fuel load that I got, you can read about that one at - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12655 . I've also heard of some people having a stumbling problem from the 12v connection for their boxes (also often scotchlocked).

I ran it with the pump wire unpluged and it still missed. When I run it turned off it is smooth. The missing or stumble usually hapens between 20 and 30 lbs. of boost. It will do it on all 5 settings. I am going to unhook the box and try my dads EZ (DDTTFM) and see how it does, and go from there. Thanks to all for the addvice and I will post the results.

I was very pleased that my EGT's were as low as they were even while towing. Even on level 5. What are some of you others seeng for EGT's with this box? My boost can go as high as 38-39.
