Resume/Accel Switch or clockspring?

My cruise control works (at least the on/off and set speed). It holds speed just fine. But the Resume/Accel button no longer works.



I see by the wiring diagram that the Resume/Accel line goes thru the clockspring with the others.



Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it more likely to be the switch?

Yes. Switch, most likely. However my clock spring is bad, however everything but the horn operates

My switch went bad a couple of years ago. I was able to get it apart and could see where the contacts weren't hitting properly. In my haste to repair it, I broke the microswitch. Luckily the dealer still had it. I think it was about $38. So if you take your time, you should be able to look inside and fix it.
