I have been trying to track down some diesel leaking from under my truck. I think I've found it. Seems that the return fuel line has a split on the underside. I'm going to have Rocky Mt cummins look at it. I need to have the values adjusted and want to have it run on the Dyno to have the engine checked out.

Has anyone else had this problem, by the way, I called the dealer to check if the fuel lines are covered under the 100,000 mile warranty, but I was basically told the warranty only covers parts that aren't broken, that's some great warranty. I love watching them tout their 7 year or 100,000 mile warranty on those Dodge commercials.

Yep that sounds about right for DC and warranty coverage  . As far as the latest 7/100K "limited" power train warranty, I would have to go back and re-read the info about it which came with my '02 truck. Seems to me the fine print states it is a limited warranty which kicks in after the 3/36 basic bumper to bumper coverage ends and get this, I think there is a deductible to pay when making a power train claim after the 3/36 warranty. I thought I was getting a good thing with this newest offering, but after I read the conditions and what the limited warranty covers and doesn't cover I now wonder if it is all the great. My impression of it is it's just another one of those extended warranties dealers or used car dealers try and sell you.

Is that return line which split a metal line? I have not got totally familiar with the 24v engine yet. I'm hoping DC did away with the rubber hose return line like on the 12v, or at least has it a little more accessable for replacing.
