JR2,
The landing lights are available from GE Supply. They are part number GE 4522. They are 250W on 13Volts. They are 475K candlepower. They are actually only $13. 00 each, but the bulb is not replaceable. They are mounted in a set of 6" Procomp housings which cost about $25. 00 each. I took the 100 watt bulb out of the ProComps and installed them in the rear Pia's which were originally 55W. Everything runs through Painless Wiring and Relays..... which makes really nice stuff!!... CJ
CJ, yeah there's a Ford in the family. Three of them. My sister has a 37 Ford Highboy coupe, my dad has a 33 Ford Crown Vic, and I'm building a 32 Ford 5-Window "American Graffiti" replica. They're all fiberglass bodied cars, nothing real.
Jeff,
I was referring to an in law looking at PSD's a few weeks ago. The one who NEEDED a CREWCAB. The other rides are way cool. Did you purchase your kit from that outfit out in Tyler?? I think it is call Prestigious?? They are coming out with some way cool replacement hoods for both the Ford and the Dodge. They have a few out now, but the good ones are do in a couple of months... all steel... CJ
CJ, nobody in my family was looking for a Ford. We are looking at a Freightliner FL70 though. Are you refering to the kit for my rod? The body came from Gibbon in South Carolina and the frame came from Pete & Jake's in Missouri. The hard part is finding a steel 32 Ford 5 window. Most of the companies making new steel bodies are making roadsters or 3 window coupes b/c of their popularity. An original body would be expensive, so I went fiberglass. I'm aiming to have it done for Goodguys in Oct. , but that will be a stretch.
I need a set of those bumpers! Those are sharp CJ. Yes, it is my brother that is looking for the crew cab. He is lso looking at a F150 Super Crew for about 7K less than the F350. Hmmmmm.
Sorry guys, I am going to miss this Saturday's meeting. I have some stuff for work that I can't get out of.
If you want a heavy duty bumper but don't want the heavy weight, check out Denver Off Road aluminum bumpers. Here are photos of the DOR bumper on my Ram.

CJ, were you at the Phillips 66 in Benbrook at about 12:45 today? I just know that I saw your truck as I was waiting at the light to go there to fill up. I was the burnt orange 2500 that was facing you at the light. I thought to myself, he has a big truck bumper on that thing. Do they make something like that for the Dodge? Really COOL! (even if it is a Ford) #ad
