How do you disable the horn when your in reverse with the door open its on a 07 2500 MC Laramie 3. 73

Cant, as far as I know... It was a recall for early 3rd gens, and carried in programming to the newer trucks. As far as I know, we are SOL

This was something that was added to the software in the truck and if you ever go to the dealer and they reflash your ECM you will get this back-up-door-open alarm. They might be required to do it. I know a guy that had it done to his truck and he used a Dodge DRB computer to try to find it in the program and disable it and he couldn't do it. It is non-reversable at this point. I have heard of some guys putting in a switch to turn off the horn while backing but other than that I don't think you have a choice

If it is like the '06 you can unplug the seatbelt sensor wire from under the driver's seat and put a jumper across the pins. An electrical female spade connector works fine. That way you can just remove the connector and re-insert the original plug if you want to return to stock.
