Getting ready to do my transmission service. Replacing the OEM pan with MagHytec and wanted to upgrade the plastic spin on filter screw. Ordered this lovely piece through Amazon, which said it was a RevMax part. Threads slightly nicked up, not sure I want to use the part.$30 Anyone use these parts? Any issues?

A thread file or jewelers file will fix those threads in short order.

If I was stuck somewhere I’d file the threads. But I’m not. If it was me, I’d send it back. I don’t pay retail for bargain basement quality work.
