looking at the threads, it's a pretty mixed bag of reviews with customer service being very negative. People that have been to their store are impressed with the AR stuff available. If you're buying something NIB, you might be ok. The best positive comment I saw was they have a calender of naked ladies holding guns. They remind me of the mechanics back in the service department of my dad's old motorcycle shop back in the 60's & 70's.
Personally, I prefer to inspect a firearm first hand. I especially prefer to support local gun shops even if I need to pay a little extra. That many OOS shops don't ship to CA, it makes it that much easier of a decision. The last AR I picked up locally was missing the rear sight, and that was from a supposedly well-thought-of shop. I'd be ok with factory built rifles or accessories, but I'd stay away from any custom builds on the internet without some serious references.
