I had my truck Rhino lined (Over the rail) about 6 months ago. I love the stuff. I agree with a lot of memebers on here that spray on bed liners are only as good as the installer. Mine did a mediocre job, however, it is guaranteed.

Anyways, I order a headache rack, tool box and bed rails from Ranch hand. WOW, that stuff is solid and HEAVY! I went to install the bedrails and headache rack and... they do not fit. Turns out the over-the-rail Rhino liner through off the dimensions and I will have to get it removed... uugghh...

Any ideas on how to get the stuff off the rail? I am afraid I will have to re-paint the rails again now before the ranch hand stuff goes on. Anyone have this problem before? How did you overcome?

I feel like such an idiot. SHould of thought of that BEFORE i spent $1000+ on the ranch hand stuff.

Thoughts??

It appears to be the width. And the rhino liner wraps around far enough and is thick enough that I would have to grind it down a lot. Height is not the problem.

What a pain!! Only thing I can think of doing is taking the whole thing into a body shop with the ranch hand stuff and tell them to figure it out. It is gonna cost me!!

Help!

Just trim the Rhino with a razorblade until you get a nice snug fit. Beltsander would work too.

or, grind on the ranchhand rack with a grinder until it fits over the rhino---then just rattle can what you ground off.

You spent over $1000 for a rack, rails and a box?? Nothing else??? Just curious. . I have ranch hand bumpers, but I use another company down here who custom fabricates what YOU want, instead of mass producing something. post back and tell me exactly what you ordered from them. . Maybe its because you are where you are that drove the cost up, but Kaspar Wire Works(Owners of Ranch Hand) have gotten a little proud of their products if you ask me. Just my $. 02... .

I am looking into getting my bed sprayed, but my rails hang over a little further, hopefully it wont interfere with mine like it did yours.
