Howdy, folks. I am getting a Rhino Lining on my 2004. 5 2500 Quad SWB. I plan to add a truck cap at some point (soon). My intent is to leave it on pretty much all the time, but we all know how intentions can change.
The Rhino guy said if it were his truck, and the cap were staying on most of the time, he'd put on some plastic rail caps/covers. If he were going to take the cap off pretty often, he'd have it sprayed. Over the rail spraying is $60 more than under the rail, but cost isn't really a factor here.
I'm just wondering if it makes any real difference. I've never had a decent (non-beat-up) truck or cap before, nor one with a lining. I'd like to do right by this one.
Any opinions or recommendations?
thanks, bws
