Rhonda; I've never seen your truck make a run or anything, but here in iowa I can smell the smoke, and hear the cummins spooling!! I agree with Preston, need some stacks!!

Great pics! Thanks Hoss! You got better shots than the track photographers have yet.

Did it end up getting rained out after I left? I'd liked to have watched her run that Mother's Day bracket but it was looking grim...

Stacks... Yeah... It's fueling a lot harder this year than last, that's for sure. If only I had twins it might clear up by the end.

I got to watch it go down the track last week, and after launch it completely disappears. Can't even see it turn off the track.

We kept racing, only one stop for the rain (and I think you where there then) Terry lasted for the first two rounds of eliminations!!!

She had a great time.

Looks like a nice running truck Rhonda. I've been watching your progress on that truck and must say that I envy you right now.



Got any more pics or specs on that Chevelle of your wifes? Wish my 72 looked as good. Is that a red 60's Chevelle behind the "Pavement Princess" in the first pic? Can't really tell what it is. If it is, I wonder if any of my Team Chevelle buddies could identify who's it is. ???

The wifes car is a . 060 over 454 roller cam roller rocker with a 770 street avenger carb, crane solid lift . 565 cam, MSD-6AL ignition

It has a Tremek TKO 3550 5 speed manual with overdrive and a Centerforce 2 clutch with a lakewood scatter shield and a 4. 10 12 bolt posi.



The red car is a 1964 Pontiac Tempest.

I'm more of a mouse type of guy. Run a fairly fresh and healthy 383 small block. Working on the carburetion now. Had carb troubles with the Holley 1850 so I rebuilt it, and still have problems now but different. I'm going to try and sort them out by this weekend. I have to work on the rest of the drivtrain now. Replace those open 2. 73's in the back with some 3. 55's, 3. 73's, or 3. 90's.
