Rickson Rims / Tires

I am considering Rickson Rims and 19. 5" tires for my truck. I am flirting with the max load rating for an "E" rated tire (6,000 - 6400 lbs on rear axle) and would feel more comfortable with a higher rated tire.



Is Rickson the only way to get to where I want to be? What tire size would I need to keep the tire diameter the same as I presently have? Does anyone sell a tire greater than an "E" rating for a 17" rim?

As far as I know "E" is as high as you'll find in 17". The 245/70/19. 5 will be slightly taller than your stock tires and have the load rating you want. they will throw your speedo off buy about 4% but any dealer can reset it for you if you give them the revs/mile of your new tires.

I just looked at the Rickson site and they list a 225/70/19. 5 that averages 32 inches tall. This will be very close to stock tire height.
