Has anyone tried the New Wheels by Rickson (for single rear wheel Dodges). They are supposed to be forged and polished. I have been holding off waiting for Alcoa to come out with their New 19. 5 wheels for single rear wheel Dodges. They were supposed to be available this spring, however when I phoned Alcoa in June they were not available yet. If they are not available soon I may try these from Rickson. I would appreciate any info as these are a large purchase. Thanks, John.

I would like to tell you something about the Ricksons, ordered mine on June 16th ... ... ... ... ... . still not here yet

Cheers, Kevin

I was thinking pretty hard about Ricksons for my Ram. After reading about some ordering problems here and realizing I don't need them yet I figured I'd be money ahead having custom 16" steel wheels built.

Just my 2 cents

I should add that I have a set of E range 16" tires waiting in the garage for rims.

Hey Kevin! sorry to hear about the wait... . what was the lead time quoted originally or is yours a special order? I have personally found that Dan and Matt at Ricksons to be very up front in setting and managing expectations. A quick phone call to their toll-free number should be all that it takes.....

They told me they were having some problems with help and it would take a bit longer, I shoulda pinned them down on a date but didnt. Last Monday they told me they shipped them out and they would give me an e-mail for tracking  No E_MAIL yet and still no wheels either.

I thought according to Rickson's website they didn't have their forged aluminum wheels yet for the 2000-up trucks. They have them listed for the '99-down trucks. Isn't yours a 2001?

Rickson's wheels bolt up without adapters. What about the SRW Alcoas that are coming out? I would prefer the Rickson wheels especially if Alcoas require adapters, which means a lot more weight.

I have been under the impression that the New Alcoa wheels for the single rear wheel Dodges will be direct bolt ons. This was the info given to me by Alcoa. I was told in my last conversation with their engineering dept. that these wheels were expected to be released late this summer. The proto type of these was shown in issue 39 page 69. At that time they stated that they would be released this spring, however when I called late this spring they said perhaps late this summer. At that time the engineering dept said they believed the part # for these wheels would be 771401. That however is the only info I have to date. If anyone can give me some more current info. (if they are yet out, or a definite part no. ) I would appreciate it. Thanks, John

when I first ordered I think they said 2 weeks worst case and it was like 8 or maybe 9 weeks but I did get them and when I ride around I can watch all the people stare at my tires. I am serious people will just stare at them. I cant lie I stare at them to
