Yeah I planned to have my 2nd gen centers mounted on them but for some reason they didn't clear, even with my special shouldered lug nuts, just like on my ford alcoas. Anyway the plan now is just to upgrade all the studs to 9/16" and get factory 2nd gen lugnuts to make the caps work.

How thick were your coil spacers? Are the new control arms stock sized, or something else? IF I keep my D350, which is looking more and more likely, I'd like to get some tires that will last more than 30-40K empty miles. But, the 19. 5s are too big for the 1stGen wheel wells if you like to turn corners.

The Coil Spring Spacers are about 1. 5-2" thick I didn't really measure them. But since the springs are inboard of the ball joints and not right above them, the leverage is the cause for the overall lift. They weren't terribly huge, but they cost about 150 bucks from Summit, and installed easily - they were a perfect fit for our application...

I can turn lock to lock without any rubbing.

The control arms are stock out of a '92.

the '89 control arms are weaker! I broke an upper arm on my '89!. The '92 upper arms have a doubler/reinforcement plate in the spot exactly where my '89 arm broke... Mysteryman can confirm this as he was the one who redesigned them... many times!
