Man those Ricksons are high. Has anyone tried to figure out what some used steel 19. 5 or whatever size would work with our app , go for? I am a junkyard kinda guy but where is the junkyards for medium duty stuff?

These guys hauling pulpwood and everything else arent dropping 2500 - 3800 $.

Even with the price I have thought about some and i geuus CC is thinking of saving some $ to.

What size truck would use this size as standard eq?

I saw a flower poke F-450 the other day at the tire shop that he SAID came from the factory with the 19. 5 s on the vehicle. It was kinda funny,he was admiring my truck and he had a brand new one.

I think the F450s and F550s come with 10 lugs, like the (older body style) Chevy 3500 HDs. Also be aware that 99+ F250s and F350 use a 8 on 170 mm bolt circle, not the customary 8 on 6-1/2" like the Dodge.

I did see a SRW UPS truck the other day that had 19. 5s on an 8 lug axle.

The F-450/550's 19. 5" wheels are 8 lug, but the bolt circle is a lot bigger. I'm pretty sure it's so they can use the non hybrid Dana 80 in the back.

The Chevy C3500HD (the 2wd only type that some flatbed wreckers are) also comes stock with 19. 5" rims. I don't know the bolt pattern, but it looks bigger than 8 on 6. 5". I was following one the other day, and it didn't have a 14 bolt under the back. I'm guessing from the shape that it was a Dana 135, which would lean towards a too-big 8 bolt pattern as well. .
