Ride 3500 SRW vs 2500

Anyone who has driven these new trucks notice any difference in ride quality when empty between the 3500 SRW and the 2500? Just wondering how much stiffer the 3500's ride.

Ride Quality

I drove a 3500 short bed 4x2 and was surprised at how good the ride quality was. I drove to the dealership in an 02 Ram 1500 QC short bed 4x4 and the ride in the 3500 was comparable to the 1500 4x4. Initial travel was plush, as the bumps got larger the ride firmed up. Not too harsh but firm. The ride was so good that it convinced me to get the 3500 instead of the 2500.

That's good to hear. I wonder how it compares to the current 2500. (Pre '03). Still haven't seen one of these beasts yet.

Drove a 2003 3500 Crew Cab Dually a few days ago. Compared to my 2001, the ride is alot smoother, IMO.
