I was wondering about the hieght of the 2500 4x4's. Is there differant hieghts between the regular 2500 and 2500HD's as it seems that some trucks sit higher than my '96 and do not appear to have and suspension or tire upgrades and all I have is 285's on mine. What is some of your guy's hieghts say from ground to center of whell well, front and rear and what size tires do you have.

Just curios.
Thanks,
Paul

'96 2500 ext. cab, LB, 4x4, 5 speed, 3. 54, TST 280 cam plate, AFC spring kit ,pyro and boost gauges mounted on A-Pillar, tinted windows, 16x8 Eagle alloys series 1219, 285/75R16 Durango A/T's, stainless steel rocker panels and alluminum stirrup steps

Without actually measuring anything, I would think that any 4 x 4 that also has the Camper Pkg. would have to ride higher because of the extra springs.

Correct me if wrong, but even with the camper group - I don't think it would make any diff up front, just kinda that "jacked-up" look in the back.

The camper package shouldn't raise the height when unloaded as the additional springs do not touch anything until there is weight on them.

Yes the height of a 2500 HD should be higher than a 2500. The 2500 HD is set up higher for oil pan clearance of front axle.
Remember the 2500 HD was made for diesel's and V-10's.
I will try to verify heights with shop manual.

Don't know, UKR... . mine (so far) rides level whether I'm towing anything or have the bed loaded with crushed stone. Have not so far noticed any uneveness at all.
