Ride home ended badly

Returning home from the Springfield Mass region. Have traveled 110 miles and towing my 26" gooseneck car hauler.
The trip out had a sudden braking incident resulting in a ABS failure indication. Failed indication showing on ocassion. On the return to the east end of mass with empty trailer in tow seemed uneventfull.
Only about 5 miles from the 495 exit for N.Andover after a severe braking caused the ABS indication to pop up again.
Then a series of messages that I could not see well of be able in 60MPH on a jammed up 3 lane and approaching the exit. One of the many messages I saw was "driver airbag deployed? the engine started to fade and I luckly coasted to the brake down lane. Dead. 1 "note" on message board ?"clean air intake?.


Sat for over 4 hrs waiting for tow truck and one ram dealer want to only look at my truck at the end of the month. Other two dealers no help at all.
Finally the wrecker towed me home with the empty trailer also in tow. Luckily he knew how to deactivate the "park" issue to allow the tow.
On the way home we chatted and wondered if the truck thought there was an accident and shut off the fuel pump?
It now sits in front of my garage....dead!
any help please
pull the battery cables for a total reset?
A friend may have an OBD2 scanner....

17 3500 reg cab tall/highway rear gears was towing 26' gooseneck trl. 5000lb empty
friend came by, ex Chrysler/ram, scanned with OBD tons of codes.
battery disconnect reset, yields only OCR codes remaining.??? related to driver air bag message. No accident/collision happened?

service air bag
servivce antilock brake

Engine cranks-does not fire.

I could not see the screen, and he would not stay long enough to write them down. He stated the remaining grouping seemed to be in the occupant safety group/buss OCR???
The 2 remainig system "notice" were
service airbag
service antilock brake.
Will try to get him back for another OBD2 scan...he could not stay long yestarday....

I did a cursory scan of TDR an did not find an area where the the computer control structure is discussed. While not a computer expert on motor vehicle application, I am specifically interested on hearing about our gen 4 application.
The error codes listing does show a general nature of the computer and buss outputs.

Without knowing what codes were/are present your just spinning your wheels.

4 dealers called. some don't have lift for RAM 7700lb 3500. 2 admit inadequate computer skill tech.
last option gives appointment for 25th. Scheduled tow for monday.

Kept my 96 Dodge 2500 2WD gooseneck. Baby at 230K miles needs trans overhaul (have kit)(not a blow-up... yet.) and a minor repair on bosch pump.
Medical condition forced buying the leftover 17-3500 in nov of 2018 as I was no longer able to do the work on my 96.
ABS crapped out 9.5K miles warrantied ... now crapped out again? 31K? dead on side of road with 10K trailer attached.

Get a scanner, see what codes you have. Not sure why you keep avoiding that.

How’s your electrical system? Have you ever replaced your batteries? Low voltage will cause all sorts of funky issues on these electronic driven vehicles.

RAM repair dept invoice note...

Found a lot of codes in the system.
Many of them seem random.
There was also multiple modules not communication.
The issue seems to be with the wiring between the PDC and the BCM.
Pulled the PDC out to start checking the wiring-foundthere was a loose and corroded ground.
Cleaned the ground and tightened it down,
Truck starts and runs OK.
All codes are gone except for the code C0020-01 abs pump motor circuit general failure.

ON THE WAY HOME:
ABS message if active no cruise control... after some mileage the message went away and cruise would function.
Seems ABS not hard failure?
